makebelieve has completed an interactive application with games concerning the names of places in the Messenia prefecture, for the newly built Archaeological Museum of Messenia in Kalamata. The official opening of the Archaeological Museum of Messenia was held in Kalamata on June 14, 2009. project highlight: It's (not) all Greek to me! Augmented Reality April 09 : makebelieve presented the Augmented Reality game "It's (not) all Greek to me!", specially created for EACL 2009, the 12th Conference of the European Chapter of the Association for Computational Linguistics.
project highlight: Interactives at the Museum of School Life In February 2009, makebelieve completed three interactive applications for the unique Museum of School Life, in Crete.
conference: Usability evaluation work presented November 08 : makebelieve presented its web redesign work for zuper.gr at the "Usability and Accessibility Days 2008" event that took place on November 10-14, 2008 in Athens, Greece.
conference: Museum game presented July 08 : D. Nastos of makebelieve presented "The challenge of creating digital game-based learning environments for museums" at the International Toy Research Association's 2008 World Congress “Toys and Culture” which took place in Nafplion, Greece.
project highlight: 3D Animation for the Museum of the Environment makebelieve has designed and developed a series of 3D animations and digital productions concerning water movement, the ancient town on the banks of the lake, the myths, and a reconstruction of Hadrian's aquaeduct for the new Museum of the Environment at Stymfalia.
The museum opens in October 2009. project highlight: Web Radio May 08 : makebelieve completed the setup and web programming for Wave Radio, a new on-line radio station playing Pop, Jazz, Nu Electro, Indie, etc. music.
